I felt that the educational methods of Japanese kindergartens and Canadian kindergartens are different, and I felt that Canadian educational methods should be introduced to Japan as well.

I would like to mention two things that surprised me.
First, in the morning, when we said their names one by one in a song, we all said “wonderful your name” after each name. Second, the children were surprised to see chemical reactions, such as a simple lesson on hibernation and a balloon inflated with baking soda and vinegar in a bottle, which fostered their interest in science.

From these, the children’s sense of self-esteem is nurtured and a sense of unity of the whole class is enhanced. Also, through these experiences, the children enjoyed making new discoveries and felt that incorporating learning into their daily lives through play brought out their inquisitiveness and imagination.
